Graduate Women Qld Inc. welcomes all women graduates who support its aims.
Current GWQ members are women from many different walks of life; from many backgrounds within Australia and overseas; with diverse interests, skills and ability; with a keen interest in collaboration and advocacy on a broad variety of issues impacting on women.
Every member possesses a unique perspective and energy and has her own tale to tell. We have among us lawyers; educators; health care professionals; business professionals, scientists; engineers; and those with a passion for the arts.
WHO CAN JOIN
Membership is open to all women who hold an undergraduate degree or its equivalent from an institution of higher or tertiary education.
Many of the members of Graduate Women Queensland are also members of their local Branch. For more information about our Branches visit their specific websites.
HOW TO JOIN
Applications are considered by the GWQ Queensland Committee. Membership is based on the financial year.
The current financial year’s GWQ membership fee is $25.00. If you wish to join any of the branches this may also be done via the same form and by including the additional branch fees.
Application Process:
- if joining via a branch you can submit the appropriate branch form and payment directly to your Branch for processing.
- alternatively complete this form and return a copy by email to our membership secretary at [email protected] and payment confirmation to [email protected] or return the form together with payment by post to PO Box 6472, GCMC, QLD 9726
Do you wish to also join Australian Graduate Women: To preserve a national association affiliated to Graduate Women International (GWI) there is also a national organisation Australian Graduate Women (AGW). GWQ Members are not automatically members of AGW and are not required to join them. Should you wish to join you will need to visit the AGW website at https://www.australiangradwomen.org.au/
